A lovely stay at this very conveniently located hotel which is within walking distance of all the main attractions in Prague. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic - a great range of food available. The only complaint I have is the two single duvets on the double bed - would be do much better with one full size quilt. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet too.

My biggest issue was being unable to control the temperature in the room. It was set to 25°C. For me this was too hot and when I questioned it at the front desk I was told it's winter so I don't need to cool the room down. Their suggestion was to keep the windows open except that a) we overlooked a busy main street so was noisy and b) the windows opened into the room and could therfore not fully close the curtains at night. Unfortunately for me the room was incredibly uncomfortable at night although the rest of the hotel was ok.

The hotel itself looks nice, but the room was a bit of a letdown. It was clean, but the design and furnishings felt outdated. The bathroom had no hooks for towels, which was inconvenient. The WiFi in the room was awful—it kept connecting and disconnecting, making it almost impossible to use. Even watching a YouTube video in 360p was a struggle. The gym was disappointing as well—just a small 4x5m² room, which isn’t really suitable for a proper workout. The sauna is provided by an external service and requires an additional charge, which wasn’t mentioned in the hotel description. On the positive side, the location is great, with plenty of markets and restaurants nearby. However, overall, I was disappointed with my stay and expected better.

For those interested in art, history, classical music, and architecture, Prague is a must see. Beautiful buildings and architecture can be seen around every corner. The River Vltava runs through the middle of Prague. Many bridges span the river but it’s the Charles Bridge, which is pedestrianized that visitors are drawn to for its combination of Gothic construction and Baroque Statues. Here there are street vendors selling all sorts of things, and in the distance on the hill is the Castle, considered the historic nexus of the city. The Old Town Square is one of two main squares in Prague and where some of the main attractions of the city are located such as the Old Town Hall Tower, the Astronomical Clock, the Church of Our Lady before Tyn and St. Nicholas Church. Since 1992, the historic center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Prague's city center is a museum of 900 years' of architecture, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, 19th-century revivals of all of them, and Art Nouveau remain amazingly undisturbed by the 20th century. Prague is truly an architectural delight.
